Course Description

This course focuses on the critical role of personal protective equipment (PPE) in ensuring workplace safety, emphasizing the importance of understanding tasks and implementing preventative measures. It addresses the common challenges faced by new or inexperienced employees and stresses the need for thorough training and self-education on task-specific safety protocols. Participants will learn the significance of workplace hazard assessments, communication with supervisors and colleagues, and their right to refuse unsafe tasks. The course also highlights the essential reference to Safety Data Sheets (SDS) when dealing with chemicals, guiding users on proper PPE usage and assessing the safety of the work environment.
