Course Description

This course focuses on the Hazard Communication Standard (Hazcom) and the vital role it plays in ensuring workers' right to know and understand the hazardous properties of chemicals in the workplace. Participants will explore the responsibilities of employers, emphasizing the identification and communication of worksite-specific chemical hazards, proper labeling, access to safety data sheets (SDS), and the provision of personal protective equipment.
